Handboekbinderij in het digitale tijdperk.

 

Na het behalen van mijn diploma`s aan het Grafisch Lyceum te `s Gravenhage en mijn bedrijfsopleiding bij Boekbinderij Verschoor te Voorburg, ben ik in 1973 een eigen bedrijf begonnen in de Baan te Rotterdam waar ik nog steeds praktizerend ben met het afmaken van speciale uitgaves van boeken en doosjes en foudralen voor fotorapportages od albums, eventueel voorzien van tekst of logo`s in folie druk.

Door de komst van het internet is het aanbod voor de Grafische bedrijven totaal veranderd, bestond het vroeger uit het binden van archieven, bibliotheken van Universiteiten en ziekenhuizen en kantoren. Nu bestaat het uit wat voornoemd, maar met net zo veel enthousiasme en plezier.

After obtaining my diploma at the Grafisch Lyceum in `s Gravenhage and my business training at Bookbindery Verschoor in Voorburg, I started my own company in 1973 in the Baan in Rotterdam where I am still practicing finishing special editions of books and boxes and cases for photo reports or albums, possibly with text or logos in foil printing.

With the advent of the internet, the range for the Graphic companies has changed completely, it used to be the binding of archives, libraries of Universities and hospitals and offices. Now it consists of the aforementioned, but with just as much enthusiasm and pleasure.
